The Education Commission meets on a set date in September, November, January, March, and May each school year from 6:30-8:30 pm (check our event calendar for specific meeting dates). When called upon, the Education Commission provides counsel, evaluation, and recommendations on items needing assessment in the operation of the school. The following information is from the Education Commission Constitution.
Education Commission meetings will be closed with the exception of the first thirty minutes. At this time, the commission will welcome community members to address the commission. No prior request will be needed to speak. Speaking time will be limited to five minutes per person and should not involve personnel issues.
The Education Commission encourages and welcomes communication from the community. Any Parish member, any parent of a child attending the school, or any school faculty member may attend and observe the the first 30 minutes of the meetings as an interested party.
